(The Impact of Climate change)
Her beauty didn’t last and neither did his money,
They were wretched in the cold and wished it was sunny;
The rain poured in, from the tarpaulin above,
But they believed they would survive, only by love.
Resources! Resources! Their trembling house cried.
How blooming was the woman when she came as a bride!
Ample were the jars of honey in the stores,
Guests were amazed by the carving on their doors.

A word was followed by painful coughs,
She was sick to every bone.

with his hand in his empty pocket,
He could not afford a sack of rice

The bright twinkling stars had gone out of sight.

They were told a million times,
They knew the glaciers would fall.
But it wasn’t their mistake, it was the great Newton’s law,
For we are only human and human are we not without flaw.
He returned, too weak to talk and lay down by her side.
And slumbered, too tired to love; unaware that she had died.
